Life is a preparation!

A few years ago, I read this on Reddit, and for some reason, it stuck to me; it was a lightbulb moment for me.
It said something like this,
You have two choices,
1.) You choose your challenges. You push yourself. You go after what you want. You make it happen.
It will be hard work, but you get to choose where you go and become the active driver of your life.
2.) You do nothing and wait until life throws something at you. Then you're on defence. You're unprepared and just doing your best to stay afloat.
You're unprepared and unpracticed because you've spent all your time dicking around. ( This is often disguised as "Ander se nahi aa rha")
Would you rather create your own challenges and go after the things you want, or wait until you have to fight through whatever life throws your way?
One of these choices is much more likely to lead to happiness, success, and fulfilment than the other.
I have lived life both ways; there was a time when I waited for things to happen, and I was going on autopilot until I reached a point where I was unprepared; I was on defence, and those were extremely tough days, but I was lucky that I could get through them and overcome those challenges.
But, I learned my lesson.
Once I overcame that, I have always thought of life as preparation. In fact, I never prepared for a career; I always prepared for life, the career being an essential part of it, but not above it.
When I prepared for life, I prepared for everything: my health, relationships, future, happiness, fun, and creativity.
Most people go around in their lives only preparing for a career.
It is what they are told as a child, what they learn unconsciously, and how our society functions. Find a job or any other way of earning money, and that's all you need to do. But what about your life as a whole?
Preparing for life means preparing for the career where your heart is, relationships, health, and growth as a person.
Role of finding what you love to do,
When you do what you love, your work brings you a sense of purpose, and you feel like you're contributing and making a difference.?

Your drive comes from your own inspiration.
Most importantly, it doesn't seem like work; it seems like a play.?
Imagine being paid to play. You're more likely to grow and excel, have the freedom you crave, and be more content.
?You wouldn't need alcohol, shopping, or other addictions to fill your life's missing hole.
Either love what you're doing or do what you love.
Role of your health. (Mental + Physical)
Imagine that you have achieved everything you ever wanted, made all the money, and made all your dreams come true.?
But you are overweight, have anxiety issues and keep falling sick often. Will you be able to enjoy your success without your health and well-being?
Especially in today's times, health and fitness are more important than ever.?
A healthy unemployed person will be more optimistic than a very successful unhealthy person.
Health plays a vital role in terms of our quality of experience.
If you are healthy, whatever you achieve, you are more likely to enjoy it.
If you want to live a healthy life, you have to work/prepare for it.
Role of healthy relationships
Humans are social beings – and the quality of our relationships affects our mental, emotional and physical health.
The more closely we are connected to the people we love, the happier we feel and the more personal satisfaction we have in our lives.
Most people rate moments of connection and shared enjoyment with their loved ones as their most important life experiences.
Research shows that good relationships help people live longer, deal with stress better, have healthier habits, and have stronger resistance to colds.
After all," happiness is only real when shared"; the most unfortunate people are the ones who realize this too late in their life.
In the end, I want to ask you, are you just focusing on your career and making money, or are you preparing for the "Life" you would love to live every second of it?
