Google's Bard ??

Google recently announced their very much-awaited AI platform, Bard.

It is still in the development stage, but Google has made it public to receive feedback and improve upon it.

My honest first impression of it was not that great. The chatbot in itself generates very basic text and compared to ChatGPT, the content that it generates is.. well pretty bad ??!

Its other use cases though, might be very useful.

Let us check out a few ??:

Smart Compose ?

This is nothing new. Think of it as the suggestions that you used to get while typing something. Only that they will be much more enhanced and contextualized now.

Gmail Use-cases:

• If you always start your emails with "Hi," Smart Compose will learn this and start suggesting "Hi" as you type.
• Suggesting subject lines.
• You can simply prompt Bard to type a response to an email, and it will do it. In fact, it will provide you with various variations of the responses so that you can choose one.

Workspaces ??

• Open word > Ask Bard to create a Job Description for the role of FP&A Analyst > Edit it as per your needs. Voila, done!
• Open Excel > Promot Bard to create a table for sales forecasting> Edit the numbers. Voila, done again!
• PowerPoint also has an amazing feature i.e. designer who designs your PPT and gives you multiple variations to choose from. Gone are the days when you manually entered elements to perfect a PPT.

Google calls it Sidekick. Yes, it will be by your side, awaiting your prompt.

Microsoft has a similar program with its MS co-pilot. Checkout my post on the same :)

Search ??

The search experience on Google.com might soon be transformed for you.

With its generative AI capabilities, you will see contextualized results for your search queries.

Personally, I started hating the Blog/Article search results since ChatGPT was launched ??.

This is a very strong competitor to ChatGPT for sure. It'll be exciting to see what the future holds ??.
