Life Launchpad: A new path to empowerment and growth for people with a disability!

I have worked with people from all walks of life, and one thing has always stood out: when people are given the right tools and support, they can achieve things they never thought possible. That belief, grounded in everything I’ve done, has brought me here, on the edge of launching something that’s close to my heart.
We’ve already explored the power of Gamified Learning and Human-Centred Design, how they work together to make learning engaging and meaningful. Now, we’re adding a third element that brings it all together. Scouting has been a part of my life for quite some time now. In Scouting, it’s all about learning by doing. Participants take on side projects to build skills that matter to them. It’s youth-led, with an emphasis on taking action and growing through real experiences. That’s what we’re integrating here, creating a space where participants don’t just learn in theory but gain tangible experience they can carry forward. Every module offers the chance to practice and apply new skills in real-world settings.
Imagine a space where learning is driven by passion, not obligation. Where each step you take opens up new doors to possibility, and where the only limit is how far you want to go. That’s what we’re creating, a place where every person with a disability, regardless of their starting point, can find their own path and grow at their own pace. We’re breaking down barriers and building pathways to personal success.
Every victory deserves to be celebrated, and here, we make sure that happens. Achievements won’t go unnoticed—every participant’s progress will be recognised with customised mementos designed by people who understand the power of overcoming challenges. These reminders will serve as markers of their journey, their growth, and how far they’ve come. It’s about more than the reward, it's about recognising progress, it’s about celebrating every step of the way.
For me, this journey is deeply personal. I’ve seen the difference that the right environment can make. I’ve watched my own children navigate their way through systems that didn’t understand them, but I’ve also seen them thrive when they were given the space and support to shine. Their strength, resilience, and determination have been my greatest teachers. They’ve shown me what it truly means to create environments where people can be themselves and excel.

My experiences with veterans have also shaped this vision. I’ve seen firsthand how structure, support, and meaningful challenges can transform lives. Those lessons, those breakthroughs—they’ve all led me here. I’ve poured everything I’ve learned into this program because I believe it can change lives in ways we can’t even imagine yet.
Introducing Life Launchpad
So, what’s Life Launchpad all about? It’s about empowering people with disabilities to find their path and then follow it. It’s about giving our participants the skills, the confidence, and the community they need to push their own and others boundaries on their path success. We want to build capacity and create pathways for future growth and personal success. Through gamified learning and human-centred design, Life Launchpad will offer participants the tools to develop their strengths, tackle real-world problems, and continuously build on their achievements. We’re rewriting the way capacity building services are delivered to the disability community.?
And now, the time has come to take everything we’ve been building, everything that’s inspired me, and turn it into something extraordinary. Life Launchpad is more than a program; it’s a movement that’s going to redefine success, advocacy, and empowerment for people with disabilities. The next chapter is about to begin, we will be launching our pilot in the next few weeks and will be looking for people with a disability who have access to capacity building funding to participate, ?I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.
