This lady returns with her thoughts on IMT Nagpur. Today, let’s talk about something that will be a big part of your life here.

Committees, Clubs, and Forums: These are the places where you’ll make real connections and lasting memories. Outside the classroom, you’ll spend most of your time with these people. You’ll learn how to be a team player, plan and run events, and get a taste of the real world. You’ll discover how to work as a team, make decisions together, listen to each other, and trust your teammates. When events are coming up, you’ll see how important a good team is. These experiences will teach you everything from working long hours to supporting each other and understanding different viewpoints.

The Bonds You’ll Form: These people will become your family away from home. It won’t always be easy; you’ll have disagreements, just like with siblings. Different opinions and ideas will challenge you. But in the end, you’ll see that you’re all on the same team, working towards the same goal. These shared experiences will teach you a lot about working together and being resilient.

Cherished Memories: Most of your MBA memories will involve these people. Team dinners, parties, and late-night fun sessions will be the highlights. Not every committee will offer the same bond, but it’s up to you to build strong relationships. Since you’ll be working together, why not make amazing friendships? Trust me, if you find the right people, your time in IMT’s “Bigg Boss” house will be the best years of your life.

Choosing Wisely: Pick a committee where you think you’ll fit in. Look for people who share your interests or the kind of environment you want for yourself. You’ll learn a lot, especially about working with others.

For the Non-Joiners: If you don’t want to join a committee, club, or forum, that’s okay too. Many people who didn’t join are doing great in their careers. The key is to find good company. Even one or two close friends can make your time in that “Bigg Boss” house wonderful. Look for good people and cherish those friendships.
