Life at Huddle: Marin Stojsavljevi?
The latest entry in our blog series sees us take a deep dive into the day-to-day life as a Huddler.?
In the spotlight today is Marin Stojsavljevi?, whose time at Huddle has already seen him develop and grow his skills as a Data Engineer.
How has his experience been so far??

“The first time I heard about Huddle was when my mentor Mario Br?i? asked me if I was interested in working at the company,” Marin said. “His former student, Filip Komljenovi?, was working here already, and Mario said that it seemed to him that the company had great prospects. He briefly introduced projects we could work on at Huddle – they all seemed very interesting, so I accepted the offer!”
The positivity inspired by culture at Huddle was clear to see for Marin from day one, and the green shoots of creativity began to grow almost immediately.
“We had our first meeting with the Huddlers in January, which left a really good impression on me,” he said. “We agreed to work on two projects. The first one was meta-optimization. This project was very challenging at first because it demanded a lot of research and improvisation but, in the end, we managed to get very promising results. We are now in a testing phase and will soon get feedback on how our solution scales in different real-world scenarios. The second project is more of a data engineering task and demands a lot more research. Our task, which we started working on two weeks ago, is to get familiar with the concept of Delta Lake and to find out how to use it in our data architecture.”

Marin fit into the Huddle team seamlessly, and his talents made quite the impression on his newfound colleagues.??
“In the first project, I worked in a team of four: my mentor Mario Br?i? and two other students, Andrea and Filip. We are quite a team! Our mentor guided us all along the way, giving us tasks on a weekly basis, and we had meetings one or two times a week. Mario helped us a lot with his advice and expert knowledge and under his guidance we have achieved very positive results.”
“It is in this sense that my academic knowledge has proved most beneficial, generally allowing me to grow, develop, and learn new things in a team environment.”
Overall, Huddle’s ability to combine genuine talent with a philosophy of teamwork had made it quite the place of work. But does Marin agree?
“I like working at Huddle very much, especially in the office! The thing I like the most here is the people. From day one, I have felt a really positive working atmosphere, with everybody ready to help if I ever struggle.”
“It feels great to be part of the Huddle team, and I can’t wait to see what we else we can achieve together!”
