Life has no meaning until someone touches your heart

Like others have said as well, humans are social creatures, one of our most amazing advantages that makes us the species we are. A wide range of emotions is pretty amazing if you think of it, and these can cement memories in place. When someone gets engraved in your memory that person could've done of two things: They were there at the right moment and they did the right thing at the right time. In the first scenario you are in a position that leaves you vulnerable, a highly emotional state. A kind gesture that seems meaningless like a smile or a conversation could make a huge difference at such a moment. Such a person is forever connected to that feeling of elevation that it never leaves you.

In the second scenario an impression of someone could remind you of something in your life that has great meaning to you, in that case that person would be connected to that feeling even though they were not part of it. It's a form of conditioning that can be very powerful. Of course these are just two possible scenarios that occur to me right now. Memory is a strange thing, especially combined with emotions. So someone doesn't need to adhere to one of those scenarios to be forever in your mind, but I do believe it requires a strong emotion in order to leave a long lasting impression.

Well if I speak for myself, the ones that touched my heart in a romantic sense and left a huge impression, were guys who I was physically attracted and had traits I valued a lot but were rare to find. For example humble, but confident or strong but kind etc. Most people fall for others who are in some way the same, they recognize something in them that they also have. The person triggers a certain sympathy in you, whether it's because of a personality trait or a familiar facial expression. They give you a good feeling and it's some sort of a recognition.

All human beings are on different levels of growth- mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually! We are here to live and learn. As we learn from experiences/ life's lessons, we gain knowledge, wisdom, insight, and understanding. We advance in our perceptions, etc. We are the result of what we learn. Lessons - tend to change a person. Granted, there are people in this world that are more loving than others, kinder, more caring, etc., never- the- less, we all live and learn and hopefully become better people.

Even though with each generation, morals and moral values become devalued/demoralized, there are still souls in this world and being born into this world with a higher level of wisdom and love than others; people that tend to see things totally different than the rest of the world; and, when they share the nature of who they are, people receive them as being different than others, and they are, in terms of how they treat other and what they have to say!

I think it’s because now and then throughout life you meet a person who says exactly the words you desperately need to hear at that specific moment in your life. Maybe you struggle with something, and voila, one sentence from a stranger put it all in place. Why haven’t you just came up with that thought yourself? I have experienced this many times. That is a touch of my heart. Thank you to all who have done this, most of you don’t even know. If I meet such a person again, I use to tell them in person what this few words meant to me, and in how way they change my life. Or at least give me a little bit more to struggle with. Cheers!

And there are also people who I meet at a regular basis who’s brain is sending at the same wawes as mine most of the time. It’s a relief. Understanding without saying. That touch my heart, too.
