Today's devotional is from A Daily Taste of Proverbs

“Little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of the grave” - 9:18.

You embrace some activities because they give you life and joy. Others take life and energy from you because they're not part of what God has for you to do. Boredom and meaningless work are not how God wants you to invest your life in Him.

Do you wake up looking forward to your day or dreading it? If the latter, do you think that is how God wants you to live? What changes can you make to transition from energy-draining to life-giving activities and work? The Lord urges you to choose life in Deuteronomy 30:19-20 and then tells you how to go about doing just that.
