Life as a Game: A Thoughtful Guide to Personal Growth

Introduction:

Viewing life as a game isn't meant to simplify or trivialize it; rather, it serves as a lens to understand its complexity. This perspective offers tools for handling challenges and striving for goals, acknowledging that everyone's starting point is different.

Levels and Progression:

Different phases of life can be seen as "levels," each with unique challenges and lessons. This perspective helps us view each experience as an opportunity for personal growth, without underestimating its complexities.

Game Mechanics:

Understanding the "rules" of life, such as social norms and laws, is essential. However, it's also crucial to recognize that these rules aren't fair for everyone. Navigating them consciously helps level the playing field.

Cooperation:

Relationships are key in the game of life. Unlike in a literal game, the benefits of cooperating are often emotional and psychological, not just practical. Each relationship offers a unique dynamic and opportunities for learning.

Power-Ups:

Opportunities like education and networking can be seen as "power-ups," but it's important to recognize that not everyone has equal access to these resources. Use them responsibly and inclusively.

Winning and Losing:

Life has its highs and lows, and challenges are inevitable. It's vital not to see setbacks as "game overs" but as part of a larger journey, full of both triumphs and lessons.

Conclusion:

Life as a "game" is not a simplistic comparison but provides a framework for contemplating personal development, relationships, and challenges in a nuanced way. It helps us be mindful of both our opportunities and limitations, navigating them respectfully and inclusively.

But even life is complex, from small things to big. Look at the brain, no human can create a thing as complex. Tomatoes plants get more tomatoes and the tomatoes taste more if pollinated by a bee than by manually done by humans... Not explainable, and so on.
