What if the explosion of Artificial Intelligence could be compared to the explosion of life during the Cambrian period?

The Cambrian Explosion marked a rapid diversification of life, that had been dormant for almost 4 billion years before.

During the Cambrian Period, which occurred around 541 million years ago, trilobites were one of the most dominant and diverse forms of life on Earth.

Similarly, the explosion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in 2023 can be compared to the Cambrian Explosion.

Just as the Cambrian Explosion marked a rapid diversification of life forms, AI's proliferation represents an unprecedented diversification of technological capabilities.

In both cases, this explosion led to the emergence of a multitude of new entities with varying degrees of complexity and adaptability.

Much like how the Cambrian Explosion laid the foundation for modern biodiversity, the AI explosion sets the stage for a transformative era in which intelligent systems reshape industries, societies, and even the very fabric of human existence.

Just as the Cambrian Explosion heralded the dawn of complex life, the AI explosion heralds a new epoch of super-intelligence, innovation and evolution of life on earth…

But 3 events could be called major transforming event:
