The "Life Exams" Entry

My siblings are in year 12. This means that they have a series of exams to write before they can move on to university.

They are having more classes than they usually do, less time for play, etc because they are preparing to go to the next level.?

?

Right now, it might seem like a lot of stress but it’s important for their growth. The same thing happened in primary school. We all had to write common entrance exams to enter junior school. Then the Junior school exams to enter senior school. In university, you had to write exams every semester, but that final year needed a lot more effort for projects and the final exam.?

?

They might have felt stressful at the time but they all have their rewards. At least you get to call yourself a graduate today because you worked hard through these times for it.

?

Imagine a student going through school for 4 years and then giving up in the final semester because the exam and project stress is too much.?

?

The person ends up not getting a certificate which is the reward for labour.

?

Basically, examination is a normal part of life. In fact, it is not just normal, it is vital.

To get any promotion, you must be tried. You must be tested. You must show yourself as one that understands the current level if you want to move to the next one.

Some of us, however, run away from the exams of life.?

Perhaps that’s why you’re not being promoted? ??♀?

?

The exams of life are different from school exams. We don’t all have the same scripts, so if you’re trying to copy from others, that’s why you keep failing.?

?

We all have different destinies. The tests you need to go higher in life are different from the tests I need.

?

But my question for you is, why do you run away from the exams of life? ????♀?

?

Why do you shy away from responsibility? Don’t you know that it’s the only way you can be promoted??

?

You get tested in different parts of life; in your career, in school, in your relationships, etc. If you shy away from responsibility, you’re also shying away from promotion.?

Embrace responsibility. Be excited when you hit a hard task. Overcoming that issue automatically promotes you.?

It’s like when you solve year 1 math, it shows that you’re ready for year 2.?

?

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that the higher you go, the easier it’s going to get. If anything, it gets harder. You learn basic equations in primary school, by senior school, you’re learning calculus.?

?

Don’t be scared either, because what each class does is to build your capacity. It doesn’t get easier but your ability to overcome grows.?

?

In every phase, there are tests. Those tests help you go higher and better. Don’t shy away from them.

?

They’re important for your growth and promotion.

?

RANDOM FACT OF THE WEEK: the largest desert in the world is the Antarctica. Yes you read that right.?

By definition, a desert is a large, dry area where there is very little rain and few plants. This means that a desert is not just defined by sand and heat. But by limited rain and vegetation. This makes Antarctica a desert. So the largest desert is not the Sahara, but Antarctica.

This week be reminded of the importance of tests. Prepare yourself because they will come. Embrace your tests. Take responsibility, and they will be stepping stones to your next stage. ?
