Life is difficult, my darling, but so are you!
You’re simply running away from the race, while so many people are still rolling. The race is going to be tough, the road will be long, and the pain will be severe. It can box you in and beat you down. Well, who did ever say life will be easy! But Albert Einstein says that in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity – this is actually true for all your difficult times— career, life, and relationships!
There‘s an opportunity hidden in every problem that is so powerful that it literally overshadows the problem. Sir Einstein made a great success story by recognizing a problem and turning it into an opportunity.

Understand Why You Are Experiencing Tough Times
It’s another new day, the alarm goes off, you are hiding under the blanket, you hate this another day to go to work. Things haven’t been going well. It makes you uneasy. You have no clue as to how to make things go better. The job hunt isn’t in the cards for you right now. So, you got to bear it.
It’s common to face tough times at work when you feel disconnected and disengaged. No matter how good you are, how great your boss and colleagues are – you’re going to hit a rough scrap at work. A round of layoffs, endless politics, manager calling out your mistakes in front of other team members, a bad performance review, constantly disapproved time offs – it’s usual to worry, as long as you can think strategically.
Remember How To Get Out of All The Tough Times
- Motivate yourself – This is the hardest part, but once you can rise above all of your problems, you can see things clearly.
- An old Japanese proverb states, “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.â€
- Stay positive - Remind yourself there is really a light at the end and you’ll make through it.
- Give yourself credit for everything you’ve already done.
- Surround yourself with people who are loving, caring, honest, and available.
- Stop assuming the worst for yourself. See the best in others to bring out the best in yourself.
- Use the ‘won’t do’ versus ‘will do’ strategy.
- Think what the job can do for you rather what you can do for the job.
- Talk to your team, just ask support.
There are going to be days of sunlight and days of disgust. Whatever the journey, there will always be an opportunity in the midway. Keep walking the road. We can’t give up.
Cheers!
