Life is defined by small decisions we make over and over again.
A friend asked me, what was the best photograph I have taken and I showed him this. This always remains close to my heart, as I reflect myself in that hulk.
It was around last year January, I was lonely and standing on my balcony, in Boston's winter cold. Have been eating Oreo's all day, and was about to smoke a cigarette. As I went inside to get the lighter, there was this "Little book of inspiration" laying next to it. I was under a dilemma as to read or smoke first. I am glad that I picked the book. Book itself is a short read, but it got me thinking for next few hours. I even forgot about the cigarette.
That small decision to pick the book first, changed my thoughts (atleast for those few hours). That is when I realized, our life is made up of those small decisions we make over and over again.
Conceptualized and shot this picture, the same night. This picture reflects the conflict of decisions we face everyday.
