Happy Spring! As we enter the second quarter of the year, our team is looking forward to warmer weather; meaning food trucks start to stop by our headquarters and we're able to spend time on our two outdoor balconies!
We’re full of sunshine-y vibes lately. In March, we were named one of the Best Places to Work in Omaha for the second year in a row. You may have seen this accolade in the Omaha World-Herald or floating around social media from the other incredible companies on the list – like the one just across our skywalk, JE Dunn! #LifeAtCarson .
Creative Ways To Make An Impact
In 2022, our Corporate Giving Committee donated over $285,000 towards charitable giving. These funds supported local, national and even global organizations close to our stakeholder’s hearts. Beyond these funds, we have the opportunity to give back in creative ways – sometimes even during events. In March, we held our Annual Carson Cornhole Tournament, benefiting the Dreamweaver Foundation . In March Madness fashion, this bracket had nearly 30 teams and hosted a dramatic Final Four.
Beyond sparking internal rivalries and enjoying an extra happy hour, the tournament raised enough funds to help grant a dream for a terminally ill senior.

March Madness: Benefit Challenge??
Is your bracket busted? Although, yes, we had an internal NCAA tournament challenge, we took things a step further. With the Championship game last month, we thought it was fitting to tell you about our Benefits Bracket Challenge. We feel like we have some pretty unique perks, so we asked our stakeholders to vote on their favorites. Here are the Final Four:
Can you guess which benefit won the bracket? Flexible workspace won by a landslide. This is something that we’ve always taken pride in, and our stakeholders agree. Flexibility means something different to everything, whether utilizing our HQ or working remotely.
