What could be worse than having your loved- ones not with you, during the times you need them the most?

As the coronavirus pandemic has kept on sweeping the globe, it has become a challenge for our Doctors to tackle the deadly disease, while keeping themselves safe too! 

Could you imagine your family member working under such a terrifying situation while you be sitting safely under your roof? Woohoo! The thought only is enough to give you heebie-jeebies, isn’t it?

What if being part of the solution converts into a part of the problem?

There seems to be no way of containing it at this point, and health systems are struggling to keep up. Our health workers on the ground continue to provide care during the pandemic despite the severe lack of resources and dangers to their health, leaving behind their families worried!

Many doctors across the country are found corona positive, while few of their families also got into the sweep because of them!

Isn’t it threatening that, what if all the healthcare workers get succumbed to this and there will be no one left to take care of us?

 Are they getting what they really deserve?

Amidst of a major scarcity of life-saving gears and PPE, doctors are giving their blood and sweat to stay strong against this disaster, is there anything that we can do to help them out at the least?

Yes, we can! We can help them by not stepping out of our houses, we can help by following social distancing, following the guideline what government has released, following the best practices that doctors have been yelling from days now.

According to the government, India has about 1 doctor per 1,500 citizens. The World Health Organization recommends 1 doctor per 1,000 residents. In rural areas, where two-thirds of Indians live and rely almost solely on government hospitals, the ratio is 1 doctor to more than 10,000 people.

Do you now realize how much a doctor’s life is essential for the country at this moment? But no, wait! In return of gratitude and their effortless support to us, we are giving them abolition?? 

For few days, the major news headline s are not of any political turnouts or any film fare, but how docs working their ass off, day in and out for us and abandoned back in return!

HUMANITY is the need of hour right now

I have come across this overwhelming plea of a son on internet, to all of us, to help his mother by staying at home, so that she stays safe as well!

Throughout our lives, from the day we are born, till we breathe our last breath, it is the only community who has taken care of us like a family, YES, they are DOCTORS. And this is the high time we pay back our gratitude to them, acknowledge them for the sacrifices they made, and still making…

Clapping hands for one day won’t help them survive this threat, apart from our moral support, they need our cooperation the most. 

WE ARE NOT DOCTORS, BUT WE UNDERSTAND WHAT IT TAKES TO BE ONE.

Let us pledge that if we cannot help them physically in any way, we will not add on to their troubles. Be safe, stay home, and Help Docs & their families.
