Is The Life Of A Baby Important?

The Houston Coalition for Life (HCL) thinks it is. HCL offers hope and encouragement to expectant mothers who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy. Tragically, many such women are unable to see any other option than the abortion of their unborn child. When shown their true options, and especially when they see and experience the life residing within them, minds and hearts are changed. Since 2011, when we put our first mobile crisis pregnancy center on the road, over 5,000 moms have chosen life for their unborn children following a visit to one of our buses. 

By offering expectant mothers free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and Christian counseling, our program literally saves lives. Since early 2011, we have had over 13,000 visits to the Big Blue Bus. Of the expectant mothers, more than 90% chose life and continued their pregnancies to full term.  

In 2016 the stats are as follows:

2,615 women in crisis pregnancies visited the Big Blue Bus

1,173 women had a positive pregnancy test

1,079 decided to keep their baby

92% SUCCESS RATE! 

We anticipate the number of mothers we serve to increase exponentially as we begin to offer pregnancy tests and ultrasounds free of charge at our new office. In this office we are also providing classes to our expectant moms that we call our Curriculum of Life program. We are calling our two buses and our new office the Blue Blossom Pregnancy Centers! In order to continue this work, it is vital for us to have help from the community we serve.
