Ensure you clearly state your definition of success or achievement!
As a fan of the Super Eagles team, I saw their AFCON qualifiers game (virtually of course) with the Leone Stars at the Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin. I decided to write some lessons learnt.
In my perspective, with due respect to the Leone Stars, Sierra Leone coming from 4 - 0 down in the field of play with Nigeria to a fulltime score of 4 - 4 , with 3 goals in the space of about 18 minutes is not just success but huge success for their squad with a sizeable number of players not playing in "big clubs" or "plying try trade in Europe"!
Hence, you might not be in the spotlight but you have what it takes to let the light beam on you, keep grinding!
Just a lil more then it would have been massive success for them if they won.
Life is all about tactics!
Get the right tactics with some efforts and then boom, you win.
What makes you a game changer are the reflexes you produce in the face of pressures!
Many times, we all have excuses that seem so right to us but deep down, we all could have done better.
When you lead in the race of life, watch your back, guard yourself!
May we all be ALL-TIME winners (AMEN)
Don't pray to lose at home or away!
Win always!
