Re why Canada must appeal the decision to exclude them from the UN Security Council

TO JUSTIN TRUDEAU THE CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER.
Justin, either you, or your advisers passed my recent email to your minister for foreign affairs - as a way of ‘passing the buck’. However, because of recent events in and concerning Ireland you are duty bound to appeal the decision - to award a place to Ireland on the UN Security Council.
Yesterday Ruth Morrissey lost her battle against cervical cancer. She was one of at least 220 women whose smear tests were outsourced to the US, to save money, and misdiagnosed. She and her husband were awarded well over two million euros, but the Irish Government never saw fit to apologise to a dying women for condemning her to an early death. Far from it. After her friend and fellow sufferer, Vicky Phelan broke the mold of silence by refused to accept a gagging order, the Taoiseach promised that no other woman have to undergo the rigours of a trial. These were hollow words. Not only did Ruth, as a very sick woman, like Vicky, have to endure a trial at the High Court - but the two labs concerned and the HSE, [which is the Irish Government] appealed the court’s decision. This necessitated her having to undergo further legal proceedings. However, she was vindicated when the Court ruled: “that the State was responsible for the running of the Cervical Check Tests and for its failings”.
And another example of why Ireland should not be allowed to sit on any UN Security Council - 130 cervical cancer sufferers must still go to court - to prove they are dying and that the Irish State is responsible for their deaths. How can Ireland Police the UN when the Elite who run Ireland can ignore with impunity the wishes of the [elected] Taoiseach - the supposed leading citizen?
On a completely different but related matter, but one that highlights and compounds Ireland’s unsuitability to be on the Security Council: Just last week it was decided - that the 800 plus babies found in a cesspit on Convent grounds, should be exhumed - and given the Christian burial that they were denied by the Catholic Church... If the tables were turned and Ireland’s missionaries found in a sub Sahara country - over 800 babies in a cesspit - they, and the Irish Government would be up in arms about the atrocity and demanding that those responsible be brought to Justice.
Further grounds for the Canadian Government to demand that Ireland ‘not’ be appointed to the Security Council, is: - on the one hand Ireland has won its case, not to accept the almost 14 Billion that Europe claimed Apple owed to Ireland in unpaid tax. And - on the other - Ireland is wanting many extra billions from Europe to fund its economy during the Pandemic. Surely, this schizophrenic thinking must be challenged? Surely this, and how Ireland treats its own citizens, proof positive that it should sort out its own problems before attempting to solve those of the world.
A small but important point: The newly elected Taoiseach, Michael Martin, several years ago promised me, to my face, that he would raise the matter of SIPTU’s corruption [my words] with Jack O’Connor, the then union president - “whom he knew personally”. I had just explained to him that the Union, when still named ITGWU, at Belfast Docks had established with the employers, an illegal Union and Employers Court, for disciplining and sacking Dockers. I further told him that the documentation from the Court was available on www.siptupresidentjackoconnorexposed.com - He promised to be in touch, but predictability I never heard from him again. Obviously, if... the 183 countries eligible to vote countries onto the UN Security Council, knew they were lied to - when ‘persuaded’ to vote for Ireland - and also knew a fraction of what passes for Justice and Fair Play in Ireland - they would think more than twice - and change their votes. CANADA MUST APPEAL THE UNJUST DECISION TO ALLOW IRELAND A VOICE ON THE SECURITY COUNCIL -WHEN SO MANY OF ITS OWN CITIZENS ARE SILENCED AND SIDE-LINED.
The above was written before I saw today's two page spread, 21/7/20 pages 4 and 5, in the Irish Daily Mail. This article effectively laid the blame for Ruth’s death and all the women dying from the cervical screening scandal squarely at the Irish Government’s door. I say this and am grudging in my praise - even though the Irish Daily Mail refuses to expose the Belfast Docks Scandal - where Dockers were ordered by their Union to discharge Asbestos without protection, to save the employers money.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, clouds of this deadly dust was blown all over Belfast - and the Irish Daily Mail, all Irish newspapers many TD’s and successive Irish Governments refuse to acknowledge this murderous atrocity. However, seeing the Irish Daily Mail is now writing and printing the Truth, maybe they’ll have a change of heart regarding the Belfast Docks Scandal. If so - they could start by printing my oft asked question on their questions page: “Is there another Trade Union in the world that joined forces with employers to persecute its own members?”
