Hello Power People,
Today's topic is Licensing in Power Automate.
This needs to be mentioned again
Why do we have licensing in the first place?
Short answer is because of Standard and Premium connectors.
Premium connectors cannot be utilized without having Premium licenses.
Standard Connectors examples:

Custom connector
Working with standard connectors are covered under seeded licenses.
1. Power Automate Premium
Previously known SKU as Power Automate per user
Task mining capabilities
Process mining capabilities
The Process Mining add-on is a tenant wide license that is available for the Power Automate Premium license. It offers:
- Additional 100 GB of process mining capacity to the capacity pool, from which users with the Power Automate Premium license can consume.

-Additional 2 GB of Dataverse database capacity.
-Additional 1 TB of Dataverse file capacity.
Note: Running an RPA bot in an unattended scenario requires the addition of the Power Automate Hosted Process license.
2. Power Automate Process
Built on top of previously knows SKU as Power Automate per flow.
-Concurrent instances of a singular process require an additional unattended bot for each instance which means If you want to run the same task at the same time on multiple bots, you need to have a separate bot for each task instance.
-Unattended bots can be deployed on a local, remote desktop, or other virtualized environment. This license does not include any of these resources.
-Every top-level flow needs to be licensed individually. ‘Child flows’ triggered by another flow do not need to be additionally licensed. For example, if you have a main process for onboarding new employees and it triggers child flows for smaller tasks, you only need a license for the main process/flow, not for each child flows.
3. Power Automate Hosted Process
Note: Hosted Process licenses
Bonus: To run Power Apps Trigger Premium Flows, users would need Power Apps Premium/Per App/PAYG license subscription, not Power Automate Premium License.

Thanks for breaking down Power Automate licensing. Assess your automation needs carefully before choosing a license to maximize ROI and avoid over-licensing. This approach saves costs while meeting all functional requirements.
