I have used Firefox from the very beginning, then on and off throughout the years. It used to be a small piece of software, but it has grown so much. Gone are the days of a clean uinstall of firefox. The installer dumps mozilla folders all over Windows, just in case you accidently uninstall/break it. The convenience of a reinstall. Making it as much of a pain as many of the other browser to get a clean re-install.
I guess there are a lot of others thinking the same, hence the many forks of the original code. I am using two at the moment, PaleMoon and LibreWolf. LibreWolf has been hardened to a point it can be a bit of a challenge to use if you need to log into the web apps/pages on a regular basis. As the password store has been disabled. I have spent far too long doing web searches that explained absolutely nothing on how to reinstate this feature, therefore I had dig around myself to get a solution.
