Liberty IT Gets Gold
The Charities Aid Foundation has awarded Liberty IT a gold award in recognition of the money donated to charities through payroll giving. Since 2005 our employees have donated over £250,000 to UK charities through the payroll giving scheme and one off donations following disasters such as earthquakes, floods and the Ebola outbreak. This is an extraordinary amount of money- on top of what is raised for our chosen charity partner each year.
A gold award is given to companies where more than 10% of employees are signed up to the scheme. Finance Director at Liberty IT, Paul Molloy, said “I am privileged to work with colleagues who are committed to supporting charities. Giving employees the opportunity to make these donations in a simple and efficient way is something that we wholeheartedly encourage.”
Charitable donations made through the Charities Aid Foundation Give As You Earn scheme are taken from pre-income tax salary, providing participants with a tax saving whilst also maximising the amount the charity will receive.
