What is on the agenda?

Does Europe need to take?back control of digital innovation?

With technology providing more and more solutions to our lives, one of the central issues in society is how to?control?digital #innovation. We must find a balance between?embracing innovation?and safeguarding European security.

In finding the right solutions for?European Digital Transformation,?we must create a dialogue between industry & politics. During the first?Stakeholders' Dialogue?event last week, we gathered MEPs Svenja Hahn and Sandro Gozi , policy advisors and experts from the corporate sector, to discuss the EU in the area of critical #digital infrastructure.

The overarching?argument?was that Europe must?reduce its dependencies and create a more industrial?approach?to policymaking.

Security and enlargement: Two sides of the same coin

EU enlargement is about more than just geography and economy. This has become even more evident at a time when one European country is waging a brutal war of aggression against another.

According to?Ilhan Kyuchyuk, MEP and ALDE Party Co-President,?to secure Europe's future,?we must strengthen?our defence and embrace new members by creating a realistic membership roadmap for candidate countries.

You can?hear more insights on?the future of European defence from Ilhan Kyuchyuk and?Maria Golub by listening to our recent Twitter Spaces.
