What is on the agenda?
Do we need a European Citizenship Statute?
European citizenship is a unique construct that does not exist anywhere else in the world. The?Maastricht Treaty,?at its creation, detailed additional rights for European citizens. However, this still needs to be?fully implemented.?We must address this gap and complete the success of European citizenship by placing it at the centre of the political system.
This joint position with?Renew Europe?addresses the gap?by proposing?a?European Citizenship Statute.

Are CEE countries under-represented in EU debates??
"We should have listened to Central Eastern Europe."
There is an increasing demand across our continent to understand Central Eastern Europe (CEE), and to have a structured and understandable perspective that comes from the East of the European bloc. But this demand is not yet fulfilled.
In the new episode of the Liberal Europe Podcast,? Wojciech Przybylski , Editor-in-Chief of?Visegrad Insight,?discusses the perspectives of CEE on the whole of Europe and the consequences?of a political mindset which ignores such views.
