LI-COR Spotlight: Wihib Hankore, Applications Analyst Intern

Today we celebrate International Students Day. The LI-COR Intern Program is home to many students like Wihib Hankore, an undergraduate at the University of Nebraska. Wihib is an Applications Analyst Intern from Ethiopia, who is studying Biochemistry in hopes of continuing her education in graduate school. During her time at LI-COR she has learned many technical skills that have expanded her outlook on what she can pursue with her degree.??

As an Applications Analyst Intern, Wihib works with the technical support team for LI-COR Environmental. She also participates in application and instrument testing, assists in providing technical support to researchers and scientists, and develops knowledge about the environmental product line.??

Wihib has continued to work for LI-COR because of the company’s mission to help scientists improve the human condition. A position where she can work with people that make a positive and meaningful contribution to the scientific community is important to her. Learning from experienced scientists while using research-grade instrumentation is an opportunity that she is grateful and excited for.?
