LI-COR Spotlight: George Burba, Science & Strategy Fellow

George Burba, Science & Strategy Fellow at LI-COR, is the author of the newly released edition of Eddy Covariance Method for Scientific, Regulatory, and Commercial Applications. Compared to the previous editions, the new book is longer, more comprehensive, contains many more illustrations and examples, and is now accessible to readers without a background in micrometeorology. He intends the book to be useful to both scientists and non-scientists working on issues related to climate change and the environment. George describes the book as a good COVID project, with most of the text written while working from home, and the entire project as a huge team effort.

George celebrates 17 years with LI-COR and appreciates that he can continue to maintain his connections to environmental research and academic science, and the development of new methods and systems. He is also a Global Fellow with Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute. When he’s not working, he enjoys kayaking and long-distance trekking.

I love this book so much and really useful. Can you check your email, please? I need your favor for the equation, Mr. Phd. Burba. Thank you so much.
