PRIDE MONTH: In a recent study conducted by job search platform Indeed, 30% of LGBTQ employees reported having?personally experienced workplace discrimination?at a previous employer. To help queer employees find the right fit, FlexJobs , a job site for remote work, compiled?a list of companies that are actively hiring workers for flexible jobs —?and support the LGBTQ community.
In addition to hiring for?remote-friendly jobs, all of the companies that made FlexJobs' list were formally recognized by the Human Rights Campaign 's Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality — a directory that ranks organizations based on their?corporate policies, practices and benefits that support LGBTQ workers. 亚马逊 , Airbnb , 谷歌 and more made the list:

UPSKILLING: The State Department plans to admit 125,000 refugees into the U.S. in 2023, up significantly from 25,465 in 2022. But gaining entry is just the first step in a very long and daunting road to assimilation. Creating pathways to employment is the goal of the Tent Partnership for Refugees , an employer network dedicated to mentoring, upskilling and hiring refugees. In May, Tent announced a new initiative that will support and mentor refugee women through the career preparation and job searching process. Employers including American Airlines , 埃森哲 , 辉瑞 and others have committed to mentoring 1,500 women over the next three years.?

"Companies have really stepped up to look at this population of refugees and have their employees team up with refugee women that are coming to the U.S., and provide them with a range of support to help them become job ready."?
