LFI Quick Stat: Loan market poised for busiest new-money allocation week as arrangers cram in deals ahead of Thanksgiving
Loan arrangers are poised to set a new record for weekly net priced volume as they seek to wrap up a huge slate of transactions ahead of Thanksgiving.
Per data from LFI, which opened its doors in September 2016, there are 54 deals due this week for $53.4 billion, or $26.3 billion net of associated repayments.
While it stands to reason some of these deals could slip to next week’s business, the net total is well above the current record for net priced volume set just a few weeks ago. Per LFI, the week ended Oct. 22 is currently the record holder, with $17.3 billion of net new money pricing.
