Levi's Haus of Strauss X Lucky Fox

Haus of Strauss, London - Levi’s VIP Experience Centre which?aims?to build connections and create brand energy across the music, fashion, entertainment?- has been completely refurbished with a focus on sustainability, following a design collaboration with Lucky Fox.?

Designed, produced, and installed by Lucky Fox, the new multi-functioning space has doubled in size. The area now includes collection display zones with bespoke fixtures which suspend from the ceiling to create impact, and a lounge area, doubling as a stage for music events.?

Ensuring the space has a longer life cycle, Lucky Fox designed fixtures to be movable and flexible to adapt to changing needs – from Levi’s press days to music events. A range of sustainable materials was used to produce the fixtures, including plywood, 100% recyclable plastic, upcycled wooden blocks, and recycled chipboard.?

Sustainable plywood - which is durable, cost-effective, and easily recyclable - was also used to build the display tables and plinths in the collections area. While in the kitchen area, Terrazzo-effect Durat – a sustainable solid surface material that contains recycled post-industrial plastic and is 100% recyclable – forms the kitchen surfaces.?

Adding other layers of interest and texture, Levi’s collaborated with the artist Amy Angold to create indigo wall hanging panels made using a technique called cyanotype. The printing process produces a cyan-blue effect, printed onto one hundred percent recycled linen and cotton.
