LevFin Insights: Look Ahead, Tuesday March 20
Arrangers have stacked the calendar with another slate of deals for today. Bowlero (FKA Bowlmor), Coty, Filtration Group, Shape Technologies, Stars Group (FKA Amaya), Tailored Brands, Vivid Seats, West Corp. and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts have scheduled lender meetings or calls. Commitments are due on Boardriders, Coronado Australia Holdings, KCA Deutag, LifeMiles,Lindblad Expeditions, Prince International, Traeger Grills and Wells Enterprises. Expect allocations of deals including Coronado and Omnitracs.
The immediate-term bond calendar sits empty, but there are expectations for some activity soon despite Monday’s drought, which was the quietest start in five weeks, what with signs of inflow to the asset class despite choppy market conditions of late. The KCA Deutag/Dalma loan amendment, for one, is already out to the loan market; $425 million of secured notes are planned.
Results are expected today from Laureate Education. Keep any eye on Claire’s Stores 9% 2019 first-lien notes, which were actively 10 points lower yesterday, trading at 53.5, after the retailer’s bankruptcy filing, and Bi-Lo 8.625% toggle notes due 2018, which were actively 10 points higher, trading at 52.5, after the supermarkets company laid out imminent plans for its own filing.
