Ok, as I continue to explore the possibilities within the Epilogue Economy, I wanted to see if I could cross over into the topic of sustainability and CSR.?This article is cross published to Epilogue: The Community, and I encourage to join us in the exploration of this vibrant topic and community.

I was the beneficiary of having amazing mentorship, and support from who would be considered as “older professionals” when I worked at The Alliance to End Plastic Waste. Now, understand that I am using “older” loosely, as in some cases I was chronologically older, but only by a few years. But I classify them in the Epilogue Economy not by age, but by motivation.?

These were working professionals, most likely capable of retiring, but who delayed that event in order to work in Impact and Sustainability, bringing years of professional experience and expertise to areas that are constantly in need of this type of leadership, and experience in the field. For me, although I didn’t recognise it at the time, they were providing me a great example what the possibilities of creating a change in direction of focus in a late career journey.?
