Leveraging Technology, AI, and People to Buy Back Time

Here are some of my top investments that have helped me reclaim my time:

Octopus AI: This automated plugin connects to LinkedIn, helping me reach a broader audience and outreach to potential clients. It's an invaluable tool for growing the business.

Mistral.ai: The French answer to ChatGPT, Mistral.ai is incredibly powerful, even in its free version. It operates as my personal assistant for all time-intensive tasks, freeing up my schedule significantly on everything from data sorting to content writing and idea generation.

Tradezella: This trade journaling software logs the positions of my backtesting, improving my strategy and saving me from the long process of manual entry. It's a game-changer for efficiency and has cut my time of journaling and testing in half.

Hiring Experts: In many scenarios, it's better to outsource tasks to experts rather than spending the time to learn the skill yourself. I need to work on the business, not in it. Hiring accountants, marketing experts, and SEO experts to build what I want has been a smart investment. I pay them to do it because, in the time opportunity cost, it would take me to stop working and learn the skill, I could have earned that cost by working and simply paying the expert. This principle works both ways—it's why I have clients as a freelancer. They don't have the time to hire and train someone, so they pay the expert—me.

This shift in mindset isn't easy, especially if you've been entrenched in traditional work environments. But once you start treating time like the valuable currency it is, you'll start seeing the returns you want.
