"Leveraging LinkedIn’s New AI Model for Business Strategy: Part I"

Using LinkedIn’s new enhanced format lends itself well to formulating a more authentic business strategy. However, one needs to exercise caution when applying different principles and practices of Model Business Performance post-ChatGPT.
In this morning's article, I will provide a brief guide and review on how you might apply and mold your new business strategy with enhanced AI tools, beyond LinkedIn's new AI format.
Firstly, I want to congratulate Ryan Roslansky and Satya Nadella for moving quickly on the new AI agenda for business. They are absolutely right in trailblazing the term "task culture." As more AI tools become integrated into all aspects of LinkedIn, it’s important to steer the business strategy according to a number of different factors.
As a reminder from my university and teaching days, you always need to evaluate where you are in the market. Some of you may still be navigating your newly formed AI-centric business model, which is great.
Conversely, before you start to build up your new AI content marketing strategy, think about market capitalization first. Where does your new product offering place you on the performance scorecard?
Just a quick reference: the performance scorecard is a measurable format taught in business and traditionally measured in numbers and squares, much like a SWOT analysis. There are heaps of theories on this; however, my advice is to use a measure of your current business model that is simple and easy to understand for all departments.
Learning and development know these areas of performance inside out, as they should. David James , the host of the Learning and Development podcast, has great insights in this area and writes regularly for the Forbes Council. I recommend those trying to create new AI learning and development business models to start there.
Now, moving on to some specifics about how Microsoft is closing the gaps in LinkedIn's AI engine.
If you haven't noticed yet, your posts now have sub-questions looking like this:
I would argue this feature is basic in its concept, and I think it has relatively low value for enhancing your LinkedIn performance.

I also note that many folks still use LinkedIn as a company announcement system. That works great in one domain. However, if you are a medium-sized business, you can leverage faster content drafts to build more connections and catapult your brand, instead of relying on this layer of AI content mix.
Forget sales for now—I have not seen any new AI features that convince me LinkedIn Sales Navigator will be a game changer. I know features are being rolled out as I write this, and perhaps another thought leader can guide you through Sales Navigator AI.
Since LinkedIn Sales Navigator is not a growth component for my brands, I will leave this space. My core research and actions come from merging EI and AI.
Although I decided to write this article myself this morning, sometimes I mix up articles with AI fueling the DJ stand.
Finally, I want to briefly discuss how I think brands need to launch and recruit AI prompt engineers at scale to ensure LinkedIn performance strategies align with business strategies. An average AI prompt engineer needs to learn AI tools quickly and effectively to leverage all business activities. It should not be solely the responsibility of L&D to run this agenda completely.
AI prompt engineering, I argue, is software-specific, not job role-specific.
Remember that employing an English grad student who holds a third-class degree instead of an MSc AI student is going to be much more efficient in the long run. The English language will be the bedrock of LLMs in the future and certainly fuel OpenAI's growth from a word embedding system perspective.
Apart from this, I will close this article as my hand is hurting. Hopefully, this new series on studying LinkedIn AI integration with Microsoft and OpenAI will pave the way for some excellent insights and perhaps a book deal!
