7 年I really have nothing against AI, and I'm pretty convinced that a lot of technologies will soon arise that will focus on AI-assisted services. However, like what you said, "AI systems augment employee performance". I still bank on the idea that personalization and human connection make huge differences in providing a good customer experience.

7 年Customer loyalty ? In India ? What ever is cheapest cost-wise, Indians will go for it. There is nothing like brand loyalty , these days. We are not bothered about after-sales issues. Indians are smart enough to sort that out. Companies in the Indian market which are into the "loyalty" stuff, are wasting their time and precious bucks too !!! But, managements will not think out of the box and do things differently, they will stick to age old OUTDATED things like "loyalty" .... No more big eats small, it is fast eats the slow.

7 年AI can add a multiplier effect to customer service. However, it would be wrong to assume that AI can replace human beings.
