Leverage University relation to attract top experts

When it comes to recruitment of Top Expert, every HR’s unpredictable nightmare places across two stages. One at recruitment and second onboarding of selected experts. And every HR team places the activity of “Attraction” before the recruitment phase and again one before the Onboarding phase.

The “Attraction” before the Recruitment is more outward in focus and the second stage “Attraction” is more Inward out focus.?And they place several activities under each stage of the “Attraction”

I am not a HR person. My large portion of the professional career is spent on Ecosystem (Helix Innovation) Enablement through MAC (Merger, Acquisition and Cooperation)

Hence through this blog, I share how some of the Industry leverage University engagement activities under each stage of the “Attraction”


First stage of “Attraction” (before the recruitment phase)

·???????Invite the selected expert to be a co-judge in company sponsored hackathons, global Tech competitions

·???????Meet and greet with the engaged university research programs

·???????Tech chat with experts on how research outcome from the universities play an important role in shaping up their business

·???????Share the Experts career path elements in terms of potential Post-doc opportunities, Global collaboration
