Leverage AI

T - Minus 5 Days

Over a decade ago, we experimented with a chatbot on our website based upon a limited version of IBM's Watson. We called it Neo and if you asked the right questions for pre-programmed answers, it would give relevant information - often it would just answer with strange and funny responses.

Now an Open-Source project called ChatGPT is currently the rage because it can create content like stories, songs, and code - in addition to answering questions.

"Assistant" wrote me:

  • A song in the style of Marty Robbins.
  • A 2,000-word article about Christmas with references to supporting YouTube videos.
  • A screenplay outline in the style of John Grisham.
  • A list of claims for a patent.
  • A code snippet of a navbar menu for .NET Core 6.
  • A story about Kevin Fream saving the world from artificial intelligence.

ChatGPT has been pre-loaded with a limited subset of Internet information but is not connected to the Internet.

Like Ben Shapiro points out, the AI has been programmed with extreme leftist views on society and politics. Further, it doesn't recognize logic errors.

Today Google is largely unusable with too many ads on a page and unreliable results that must be verified, due to automated bias and heavy arbitrary filtering by thousands of human reviewers.

The chatbot also wrote its own quotes about year-end and opportunity in 2023.

We all need to learn to use and evaluate our own AI to protect ourselves. This could be the first time in modern history that reliable information for common people could be accessible without access and content controlled by government, education, media, or major brands.

Daily Mission:?Take 15 minutes and create something useful using ChatGPT.
