The Levan Center is enabling South Florida’s Future of Work innovators

The pandemic has fundamentally transformed the way we work.

McKinsey notes that Covid-19 has accelerated three broad trends that may continue to shape the post-pandemic working world:

  1. Remote work and virtual meetings are likely to continue, albeit less intensely than at the pandemic’s peak
  2. E-commerce has grown two to five times faster than before the pandemic
  3. COVID-19 may propel faster adoption of automation and AI, especially in work arenas with high physical proximity.

This time of change has presented an opportunity for startup founders. And it's not just HR tech that is seeing growth in this Future of Work reckoning. Entrepreneurs have found success in everything from messaging systems and virtual offices to calendar and task management tools to tools for low code and no code automation.

The Levan Center is powering South Florida’s Future of Work prowess by preparing businesses to be future-ready through innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. As an economic development and education engine, the Levan Center acts as a hub for innovators at all stages of their entrepreneurial journey: from birth of an idea through successful exit or global expansion.

Founders can work through their business ideas by taking part in the Levan Center’s four-week Ideate program. By the end of the program, entrepreneurs will have a clear concept to commercialize?– and the tools necessary to do so.

The Levan Center’s six-week Incubate program helps founders advance their design thinking process by identifying how a real pain point for enough people is being solved through the founder’s business. A roster of top business minds from South Florida and beyond join the program as mentors, further guiding the entrepreneurs on their path to success. Program objectives include creating corporate structures, attracting and retaining talent, and sales and marketing.
