Letting our intentions blossom

Dear Friends,
Having our practice be in touch with the times also means being in touch with the transitions in nature throughout the year. If you have been connecting with me for a while, we have been through a lot together– from the grief-tending of the fall, to planting seeds of intention in the winter, and now letting those seeds rise and blossom as springtime initiates new beginnings.
Part of this is a deep understanding of how change takes time, and how every action that we take is moving us towards our growth. With every step we are cultivating seeds of new beginnings, and engaging the work of gathering all the resources that we need to create the world we seek.
This is what is moving through me as I join old and new friends during The New Saints book tour in Europe. Teaching in-person in Portugal and Germany has been a long time coming. These new relationships have grown through our shared intentional commitment to practice and to personal and collective liberation. It has been a privilege to tend to and make new connections in each place, both to people and to the land. Our water ritual in Odeceixe, Portugal was a powerful reminder of the importance of land acknowledgment and expanding what we mean by community, to commune with others and with the land.
As we move deeper into the spring season, I encourage you to reflect on the following questions: What blossoms are you tending to? What seeds of intention have you planted? What does the continuous act of beginning and gathering look like for you?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and learn how you’ve been engaging in practice as a way to support this work. Join me on the continuing New Saints book tour in Europe and let’s also continue the conversation on social media and through my Learning & Practice Community!
Love,
Lama Rod
