FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

How often do we find ourselves stuck in the past, dwelling on former mistakes, regrets, or even past glories? God's message through Isaiah is clear: it's time to look forward. The LORD is constantly at work, creating new opportunities and pathways for us, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Today's foundation Scripture reminds us that God is The God of renewal and transformation. He's not bound by our past or limited by our current situations. Where we see wilderness, God is carving out a way. Where we perceive only wasteland, He's causing streams to flow.

The key is our perception. God asks, "Do you not perceive it?" This challenges us to open our eyes, hearts, and minds to recognize His work in our lives. It's an invitation to cultivate faith that sees beyond our immediate circumstances and trusts in God's promises.

Today, let's choose to release the weight of the past and embrace the new things God is doing. Let's approach our challenges with fresh eyes, believing that God is actively working, even when we can't see it yet. This shift in perspective can transform our attitude, renew our hope, and energize our faith.

Action Steps:

1. Identify one area of your life where you've been dwelling on the past. Consciously release it to God.

2. Look for one "new thing" God might be doing in your life right now. It could be a small change, a new opportunity, or a shift in your thinking.

3. Take one step today towards embracing this new direction, however small it may seem.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

2) Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant work of renewal in my life. I release my painful and glorious past to You today, use them for Your glory, in Jesus Christ's Name.

3) My Father and my God, open my eyes to the new things You're doing in my eyes. Increase my faith to trust in Your promises, no matter the situations in my life, in Jesus Christ's Mighty Name.
