letting go for a better tomorrow ?

Spring has sprung ??

Today is the day that many consider to be the start of the real new year for those living in the Northern Hemisphere. Winter brings with it a hibernation-like energy, but the transition into spring marks a time for new beginnings. It's a time where we literally plant new seeds into the Earth.

The energy of today's new moon further amplifies this sense of renewal. It's the perfect time to reflect on what has served us well, what hasn't, and to reset our intentions, gaining clarity on the aligned actions we need to take towards them.

Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending a women's circle hosted by my local yoga studio. Our guide, Lisa Brodie, offered us 3 questions as a guide to identifying what we needed to let go of in order to truly step into our new beginnings.

In the spirit of reciprocity, I am sharing these 3 questions with you today:

  1. What needs to be let go of, closed, or forgiven?
  2. What are you leaving behind? What doesn't get to come with you into this next season?
  3. What ways of thinking, being, and doing will no longer serve you?

For me, I've decided to let go of believing that I'm not "there yet" when it comes to my professional value proposition. I'm leaving behind the incessant habit of undervaluing my gifts and the impact they have when I leverage them. This particular flavour of self-doubt does not get to come with me into this next season. I forgive myself for enabling relationships that fuel this way of thinking and being. I forgive myself for giving my power away each time I allow self-doubt to get in the way of being of higher service. Overthinking and second-guessing myself are no longer of service to me. I'm stepping into wholly trusting my inner guidance, my knowing, and my truth.

What are you leaving behind today?

I'd love to hear from you in the comments ??
