Dear parents,
The first guru of a child, the first teacher - the parent, Himmotthan stand hand folded and beholden to you for the courage, support and faith you’ve bestowed upon us.
To be celebrating all front line warriors in these difficult times – calls for celebrating you all too – who have actually been the support for all of us as well as your children.
We at Himmotthan stand today dear parents in the true spirit of togetherness – thanking you from the bottom of our hearts to have been the wind beneath our wings in these trying times. Relationships are the basis of all that we do at Himmotthan and you have indeed proved yet again that we are blessed to have you all on Our Team. For everything to have run so smoothly these past two and a half months is thanks to you all who have become caregivers, warriors and donned the role of the teacher too for your child. It is indeed commendable because with the same concerns and worries of everyone around you, you still took upon the role of a teacher as well and it is no mean a feat you to have done so.
These challenging times rolled out beautiful stories too wherein the parents not only donned the teacher’s cap but also stood firmly behind the Himmotthan and understood its technical limitations. In spite of all negativity on usages of online platform for primary school’s children and various government notifications you parent came forward and stood by the Himmotthan and its work and this is proof enough of the love and respect in the relationship we share with you all.
Despite our own hardships we have also in turn tried to be true to our bond and where parents have requested support due to financial distress we have reached out to them for assistance through mobile recharges and availing dry ration at their door step through Govt. Social Welfare Schemes. Each one of us is an important part of Himmotthan and each one matters.
Not to be left behind were our Edu heroes, our team members (Shubham Badhani, Durga Pd. Kanswal, Dwarika Pd. Nauni, Chandan Chamiyala, Raghuveer Singh Negi, Sonam Dayal and Mukesh Singh) who put there 110 % to make this challenging initiative successful. This become possible because of my esteemed seniors Dr. Yashpal Singh Bisht (Executive Director, Himmotthan) and Amrita Patwardhan (Zonal Manager, Tata Trusts) continuous encouragement and guidance’s on making this on-line initiative fruitful for children.
Dear parents, what the future holds for all of us no one knows but we are anxiously and eagerly waiting for that safe time and environment when we can all meet and wishing and praying for the well being of our children.
The Himmotthan Education and Sports Initiative still runs irrespective of the physical presence in your schools because it is all of us together that constitute the program. I personally want to express my gratitude to you all for being such a wonderful team. Wishing for your well-being and safety.
