Dear Baby Me,
By the time you read this, your current older self would have matured and blossomed into a strong, more confident you. That isn’t to say that there were no bumpy roads ahead.
At a glance, you appear to be a flighty, eccentric individual that many never and still refuse to understand. So many judged you. Some even wrote you off. Heck, even your own family misunderstood you due to things beyond your control.
Ok, your stubbornness landed you in hot water. You have often been caught saying and doing things that were not right. But what does one expect from a child that had little to no social skills? A child who was sheltered and caged from birth.
Sure you had friends, but you felt lonely. Your siblings had each other since they were living abroad at the time of your birth. You were all alone. You were just you. That is your true superpower. That is your real strength. Yes Dami, you are a hero. You are a badass. You are an inspiration to many. You just will not understand this now.
You have flaws like others but people often point that out and use them against you. You cry yourself to sleep. You compare yourself to others in the worst way possible and try so hard to people please.
They have gaslighted, shamed, and hurt you in many ways and claim that they did it out of love, and yet, they mock you for crying and taking their b.s. You are human with real feelings. They forgot that and paid dearly for it.

They know the truth but refuse to admit it. They hated that you are rebelling against them. All those poems you have been writing? They were a call for help back then because these people were trying to make you think that you were crazy whereas you aren’t. You know your worth. Your worth does not involve you pandering to toxic folks like them.
Like you yourself said in one of your poems, “Some people are not worth the salt.” You owe no one nothing. The only person you are answerable to are God and yourself.
You are a Queen. If you could survive all that abuse and bullshit, then no amount of time of hell can destroy you.
You are a legend in the making. The world is not ready for your stories. Just remember that you are not for everyone.?Just keep pushing until your ideal audience comes knocking, ready to cheer you on and catch you whenever you fall.
Love,
Future Dami
