Letter to my Team on our 8th anniversary

Hi Everyone,

Hope all of you are safe, secure and among your loved ones.

While the anniversary celebration is a tradition at Mindbowser, this year turns out to be different already. The first tradition breaking away from not having a party today. I miss it already.

The good part of this change is though that it really gives us all a chance to see how easy change can be. This peculiar situation is giving us all a chance to take a pause, absorb what is around us, appreciate it and make the next move. The same is true for the company as well. I think what is happening around us is a great chance to change our company DNA, our culture and practices which we otherwise thought were difficult to change.

And this opportunity to change is the best part I am truly excited about today.

But before I elaborate on that I want to emphasize and say Thanks to all of you that while there are all kinds of negative news and WhatsApp shares around us, Mindbowser continues to grow strong and I am happy to say that Mindbowser family is fully insulated from pay cuts/job losses and are even having appraisals :)

Infact, we are looking to hire faster now since there are more people looking for jobs and if they are good we want them.

All of this is possible because we are not letting the negativity enter our minds but rather working hard even more so that when the survival of the fittest happens, we survive. I'd share that on the personal front all of you guys too take up that attitude and life ahead will be much simpler. 

Another thing that this disruption helps us learn is about prioritization. Just like we all are able to survive without shopping, eating out, and things that we had otherwise always felt important- as a company we are able to gather our resources and have been able to prioritize better. All of our actions are now focussed on a single goal and I would like all of you to join me on 1 goal this year.

Has it been done- I don't know

Can it be done- Yes, I have the belief.

And that's the third important takeaway- Have Belief. Today we all have the belief that we will all survive. We have the belief that all of this will pass. 

Similarly Let's believe that we can all contribute to the goal and next year have more people in the family- Of Course, that means bigger office space, larger teams, more things to learn, better careers and many more things to make memories.

For Mindbowser, it is our priority area to have people build great memories, a greater version of themselves. Last year our initiatives like BPC, the monthly recognitions, celebrations, team dinners were all driven to make great memories and we will continue with that. In introspection, I see that we have been able to create an atmosphere of transparency, belongingness and personal achievement. Every one of you has contributed to this culture and I'd suggest that you take a pat on the back for the same.

Ofcourse to move towards a goal, we will need a direction. So today is a great day to visit our Vision, Mission and Values -

The vision is our greater goal for next years to come

The values guide our actions to achieve the mission every day
