Dear future wife,
All my life I've prepared myself to love you. I've prayed to God to keep you and make me a man befitting of your love. Poetry was my first love in order that I may take you to the moon and back with lyrical, musical, sweet flowing words. To make the feeling of Cleopatra in Caesar's arms be a shadow to how I would make you feel as I hold you in my muscular arms. To hold your hands as we walked in the park, with my eyes filled with the pride of a man who found a rare gem. To watch you cook as the sweet smelling aroma fills my nostrils as I think aloud "at long last I found the one." After eating we dance sensually and in rhythm to the tune of love songs I've kept for decades, waiting for when I find you. Tired and exhausted, I hold you in my arms as you drift to sleep as my soul once again praise the Lord for the miracle of finding you.
Nwunye m, I'm however worried about you. I pray the Lord to keep you sane in this insane world. Daily I encounter on social media, in my place of work, everywhere, ladies with feminist propaganda. Single and married, drooling and determine to fight shadows in wars that most times exist in their head. In their fight for equality they alienate and destroy the love in their lives all in the name of feminism. Condemned to the sidelines I watch as friends and acquaintances give up their marriages all too quickly. I often wonder where is the fighting spirits we grew seeing in our parents?? That resolute resolve to do what it takes to stick in the bad and good times is all becoming a mirage.
Nwunye m, the world is fast evolving. I encourage you to be the best you can be, not just in your career but in every aspect of your life. I understand the going gets tough at times but do not join the band wagon scurrying in their cloak for feminism as most wallow in hate, anger and frustration. Strive to be the best of both worlds, the old world and the new world.
Nwunye m, the time to take you down the aisle is almost here. Pray for me as i work hard in this recession to be ready when I find you. Surely, with God's ever abundant grace I'm certain I'll find you. When I do, I promise you that you can rest assured that it was worth the wait. I would forever love you.
Always and Forever!!!
