Letter to My 30,000 Followers: Blatant Evidence That COVID Unrest in the Workforce is Here, and Lawsuits are Soon to Follow—Employers Beware
Per the thoughtful article I reference below, there is now blatant evidence that the wave of severe COVID labor unrest that I predicted many times many months ago and recently is here.?
The major upset is starting in healthcare because of the greater danger. But might your non-healthcare company be next?
With a high level of certainty, this severe unrest will become more and more visible and increasingly wreak havoc throughout America and many other countries like a swiftly moving and powerful tsunami. Employers beware.
My research on pending unrest shows it is also spreading rapidly into the legal arena. There is little data yet available on the details of actions because the parties settle most of them, and the settlement agreements contain non-disclosure provisions. But there are details on even these cases. Almost always, injured employees or family members have filed a complaint in court before settlement.?
This strong evidence of severe employee unrest comes to us in the form of significant individual and class action lawsuits. The destructive results of cases, which I also predicted, show turmoil here, too, is exploding.?

This lawsuit wave, too, will knock companies over and onto their knees. As I have warned often, the threat is building or is already there for many companies. Putting one’s head in the sand will not stop this tsunami-sized wave. In the ocean, the most enormous wave recorded was 1,700 feet. In business, things might become much worse.
The best prevention, mitigation, and control strategy is: be proactive, fully prepared with a real solution already in hand, and that you are already thoughtfully executing.?
Especially front-line workers need protection from injuries and from certain politicians, who enticingly pay them more to stay at home than to go to work. And from certain lawyers who are pushing unrest, often unfounded unionization, and often baseless litigation. To establish this preventive wall, companies must wake up. And do the right thing. Now.?
Protect your employees. Vaccines are excellent. But they, alone, on average, supply only 50% protection. Plus, for your employees who for any reason oppose being vaccinated, you must give them a reasonable option, reasonably applied. The weekly, non-invasive testing proposed by the President is a good idea.
Many CEOs and Board Chairmen know this, but they are frozen at the switch. Likewise, many CHROs know this but have trouble getting enough funding to do things right.?

3 年That's why we need to look into my idea ? Covid disinfecting air filters to kill the droplets in the air that's carrying all viruses on them.my concept my words my duty .Just something to think about.if it doesn't say Covid disinfecting air filter? Its not the real thing.CDAF.

3 年CEOs do not have sovereign immunity. Politicians are playing with fire by practicing medicine without licenses...which is precisely what the most intrusive anti-COVID measures consist of. Civil rights law may still pierce the sovereign veil of immunity used by politicians. CEOs who volunteer to shield those pols, are waving money at the swarm of hungry law firms, saying "Take a bite out of us!". Simply put, businesses that front-run pols hoping for political favors, risk losing billions in litigation. Unless a CEO is a doctor and employs their own patients, a CEO should not make medical decisions for employees and customers. It really is that simple. Invite workers to see their doctor, and respect the decision.

3 年Politicians and finance analysts do not hold licenses to practice medicine, because they usually lack 4 years of medical school and 3-5 years of postgraduate training. It is unwise for CEOs to follow politicians into the unauthorized practice of medicine, because the pols at least claim qualified immunity, if they do not have sovereign
