Jamie, don't ever say you think like a #Republican . They don't exist anymore; they have been infiltrated by #rightwing bigots of The #MoralMajority , The #TeaParty , #MAGA , #QAnon , and now #Trumpism . And the "Republican" leadership have thrown out all principles to curry favor with theses groups. And therefore have been wrong on EVERY issue facing the United States of the last 30yrs.?I dare you to name one solution, that they originated, that equally benefited the interests of every #american .?
The brand of the current republican ideology is ignorance, rumor-driven, short-sighted, self-serving, and represents #ToxicMasculinity , favoring #authoritarian power, leaning towards #fascism .
The truth is, especially now, they are wrong on #Facts . Wrong on #History .?Wrong on #faith . Wrong on #Science . Wrong on #ClimateChange . Wrong on the #Constitution . Wrong on #VotingRights .?Wrong on #Marriage . Wrong on #LGBTQ issues.?Wrong on #WomensRights . Wrong on #Abortion . Wrong on #Healthcare . Wrong on #COVID . Wrong on #TaxReform .?Wrong on #Education . Wrong on #BookBanning . Wrong on #ForeignPolicy . Wrong on #Trade . Wrong on #Immigration . Wrong on #Farming . Wrong on #Energy .??Wrong on the #JusticeSystem . Wrong on #PoliceReform . Wrong on #Crime . Wrong on #GunControl . Wrong on #WhiteSupremacy . Wrong on #Trump . Wrong on #Januray6 .?
And wrong on the #future of this country... and the polls show that the majority of #Americans know this. The #gop policies, nationwide, never hit 51%.?Even among #voters who are registered as Republicans.?
You also know every study shows that the #economy does better under Democrats policies, because #discrimination , #hate , and #fear hinders #commerce , hinders #innovation . And it holds us ALL back.
The GOP are the high school equivalent of the "Jocks" archetype, and the Democrats are the "Nerds".?
Though both cater to money, the #gop bends over backwards at any cost for their enablers like #gun and Defense industries, meat processors, and #FossilFuels . And oppose almost everything else, except persecuting fellow Americans through #laws .
I agree, #Democrats are too willing to spend #money on this country's problems, but the Republicans are not willing to spend ANY money on anything that doesn't directly benefit their major donor's or themselves. We have seen this in our #infrastructure , we have seen this in combating #poverty , we seen this with #covid19 , we have seen this in #ForeignAid and now #Ukraine .?They see the #DebtCeiling as a bargaining chip, without thought of its effect on the nation's #economy or the livelihood of ALL Americans.??
They only favor #power for power's sake.
Free or cheap #energy is the difference between being one of the riches countries through productivity in the world or one of the weakest.?As Europe has proven its reliability on gas, coal, and oil are vulnerabilities.?Countries like #china are leading in #renewables , because consumable energy is ALWAYS a liability. And its economic cost is controlled by commodity traders and not just producers. Just because we have #oil and #coal . doesn't mean we are #EnergyIndpendent . It allows us to be held hostage by groups like #opec or any global disruptions.

You are correct, we need a #MarshallPlan (the only true example of America living up to the title superpower).?We need experts to outline our needs and solutions for the next 10 if not 100years. ?And congress needs to work towards that end, without ideology or rival sabotage that has failed this country since its birth.
Instead, bigots have used parties to cripple all minorities at our own peril. From #Racism towards Indigenous, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, and people from the middle east... legislators have created systems of laws like #RedLining , #JimCrow , and #patriarchy .?
WWI and the #RedScare has prejudice #government #strategies to stop the idealisms of #communism and #socialism , in favor of propping up dictators and derailed national #healthcare .
#christian fundamentalism have targeted #women , #homosexuality , #judaism , #islam , and even #catholicism yielding decades of wrong decisions by the government, and institutions in #science , #education , #healthcare , and #finance . Which we have ALL paid the price and continue to pay the price for. We see growing #discrimination and scapegoating among the #GOP continuing to attack #women , #children , their parents, their doctors, their teachers, and librarians with #HateLaws . The new JimCrow.
Exhibit A:?Is The #Trump Administration and its doctrine of #AmericaFirst . ?Which was self-destructive as it creates division at every level with every country. We should always be building alliances for our safety, our #economy , and our people. Not physical and legal walls.?
If we can measure the problems, we can manage them, and solve them.?But the #gop doesn't want to fix them, and pass laws to not measure them. They see chaos as the only motivator for their voters to give them power to serve, not the people of this nation, but the whims of their pay masters.
Money drowns out the voices of the people.?We need #corporations to side, not with parties or their own self-interests, but the interest of the American people and humanity, because ultimately, we are your customers and your work force... or do you want us to be your liabilities?
Chase, as well as other banks, should create "Banking for All."?#FreeBanking with #DebitCards , #ZeroFee , #MicroLoans , and education programs, and #Money Management to lower #debt and #BuildCredit and with this gain loyal #chasebank customers.?To offer business loans, #RentToOwn #Mortgages , #NeighbourhoodRevitalization of #ToxicAssets , and #HomeLoans to break the chains of poverty created with check cashers, pay-day-loans, predatory lending, and other #debt traps.
So, do you want 350million productive customers or 56million liabilities as wards of the state in the forms of #orphans , #prisoners , #homeless or as the #poor and chronic poor?
