A Letter to Governor Jared Polis: Clearing a Pathway for Colorado to Lead America in EV Adoption

To Governor Jared Polis and Drive Clean Colorado,

Here is how we can create a pathway to 100% adoption of Electric and Hydrogen vehicles by 2035:

Range anxiety is the number one reason that 46% of electric car drivers are considering switching back to gas-powered vehicles.

Professor Kim and a team of engineers and scientists at Georgia Institute of Technology have developed a way to convert CO2 emissions into electricity and hydrogen fuel.

"Carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) technologies have recently received a great deal of attention for providing a pathway in dealing with global climate change"--Professor Kim

Our pathway to becoming the greenest state in America and a model for the world to follow is being cleared with Professor Kim's work. Rivian, Ford Motor Company, Volvo Group, Toyota Motor Corporation, Tesla , Chevrolet , and Lucid Motors can be part of creating the first self-charging Electic Vehicles by combining 4 energy conversion principles:

1) CCUS, converting carbon emissions into electricity and hydrogen fuel. Vehicles can be retrofitted and fitted with tested and approved-for-use scaled versions of EVs Professor Kim's work:

2) Photovoltaic glass, popularly referred to as solar panels or solar glassVehicles can be retrofitted and fitted with Photovoltaic glass by partnering with companies like Skyco Skylights (now Kingspan Light + Air North America) to manufacture automotive-safe versions of their technology:

3) Thermoelectricity, converting heat into electricity through materials like ceramics. Vehicles can utilize ceramic paint connected to an electrical conversion system built into the frame of the car:

4) Turbine Technology, the existing most popular way of generating electricity utilized in The Hoover Dam and Wind Farms:

The wheels of every EV can become a turbine that powers the car and connects it to a unified conversion system.

The amount of money saved per month in charging could be converted into an EV membership that gives exclusive benefits to members creating an incentive to be part of the EV program.

Creating a fund that can be used to help all income levels have access to EVs through a subsidy that clears the pathway to EV ownership.
