Incognito Faraday Backpack - Valley of Fire 2024

A letter.

I have a preference for the title "Director of Disconnection," a term I coined myself since CEO never quite resonated with me. It seems I'm permitted multiple titles, anyway. The title mirrors my belief in the right to disconnect, suggesting that stepping away from our devices enables deeper connections with the world and people around us. After all, our reality is shaped by our perceptions, and my perspective highlights the overwhelming nature of juggling business, family, life, and the pervasive digital world, which has become increasingly challenging to navigate with limited guidance or promoted tools. Just observe any public space — airports, waiting rooms, trains, or park benches — and you'll notice eyes glued to screens, connected yet disconnected from what truly matters.

The title also sparks intriguing conversations, and I intend to keep it at the forefront as SLNT grows. I believe that SLNT offers an essential tool in the journey to safeguard personal privacy and health and I'm immensely proud to help lead the charge against the overwhelming tech advancements that we see each day. It is pretty sketchy out there, but I like to remind myself that “we get to do this” because it's the best time to be alive. I'm even prouder to engage with our loyal and expanding SLNT community/people/gang/x, though we haven't settled on a name for ourselves just yet. Submit yours.?

This past month, I attended two trade shows, one as an attendee and the other as an exhibitor. CES was my first stop, where I was immediately struck by the prevailing attitude that technology must be incorporated into everything, an ethos I find overwhelming and gross. While I recognize the benefits of mobile technology in bringing the world closer, there comes a point where it's simply too much. We are there imo. The sight of people navigating cities with devices like the Vision Pro strapped to their faces is alarming. Is this the future we get to look forward to? But, Meeting Roy Mortenson and reconnecting with Daymond John after eight years since our early days as "silent pocket" was a highlight, evidenced by a photo of a SLNT sleeve in action.

The second show, focused on tactical, military, and 2A communities, showcased our latest innovations, including the Incognito Faraday Backpack. A week at SHOT Show in Vegas opened many doors, signaling exciting new partnerships and opportunities with companies that share our vision. With technology firmly embedded in our lives, the challenge lies in remaining truly human and safeguarding our liberties and freedoms. We are up for that challenge and my assumption is you are too.?

The launch of Incognito marked a significant milestone, demonstrating our commitment to producing goods in the USA from domestic materials and showcasing our innovative design solutions to contemporary challenges.

SLNT? X RELV? Camo Collabration - Shot show 2024

We also unveiled a collaboration with RELV Camo , a next-gen weaponized camouflage that represents a breakthrough and has been adopted by elite forces in the SOF community. I think Post Malone has his car wrapped in the MOAB camo print too. That's fun. This collaboration is a testament to working with great people, great brands and our impact and innovation.

At the show, we were thrilled to learn about our expansion into the military sector through funded contracts, positioning SLNT's products as essential tools for modern warfighters in life and death situations. AKA signal management.

Looking ahead, we're excited about the upcoming launch of new products and collections, including bags, packs, and backpacks that align with your style and needs. They're designed to be essential, and we believe you'll love them.

Stay tuned for what's next. Essential times are ahead.
