A letter from your pain.

A letter from your pain.

Dear Corey,

I am thirty one years old now, and retrospectively looking back it has been a perilous journey of hardship. For many years I punished you for things that were out of your control. I made you into a chameleon to adapt to the hostile environments that I lead you towards, and without any care for your safety or the damage done to your heart & spirit.

We hurt together, we suffered together, and touched many other people with our pain.

The rift in space between who you really were, and what you thought you were grew as we became more acquainted.

You tried to fight me, and sometimes you would win momentarily, but I always came back to feed off you more. A few months ago I became gluttonous, and decided to completely drain you for everything you were worth. We lost everything together, and my belly became full with your suffering, but now I cant seem to make it back to you.

Its like you have an energetic force field, and I cannot penetrate these walls for some reason. Please let me come back I promise I won't hurt you as bad as before. I feel your strength increasing day by day, and I'm fearful that my existence will completely evaporate.

I never meant for you to become this powerful, and I regret my decision wholeheartedly.

You're not the same Corey as before I don't know who you are anymore.

Sincerely,

Your Pain Body
