A Letter from Serve Now

A Letter from Serve Now

Salik & Rahul are from a family in Nepal (one of the poorest countries in the world) that survives through begging. They live in the worst slum I have ever walked through. They stopped going to school to beg on the streets.

However, they recently started attending one of several ServeNow “Lighthouse Centers” for children just like them. Here they are being provided free counseling, being instructed to read and write, as well as being taught about the fullness of life in Jesus. As a result, they are now leaving the streets to rejoin the school! God has changed their lives from beggars to beginners in academic improvement and a new journey in their lives!

Scripture is clear that God is passionate that you and I take care of orphans and children living in poverty. There are also promises, such as one of my favorites, in Hosea 2:15 where God says he will, “make the Valley of Achor (which means trouble or distress) a door of hope. This is what ServeNow is all about and what you can be a part of making a reality!

Salik and Rahul, as well as their friends, need consistent and thoughtful partners like you. What doesn’t take much for us, would make all the difference for themmonthly investment of $25 or $50 can ensure the life-transforming difference between “despair” and “hope” for children in need.

To make a meaningful monthly investment click here: Monthly Investment for Orphans. If you prefer to give a one-time gift of any amount click here: Gift for Orphans in Need.

God bless you for being caring and compassionate towards children in need.
