Letter From our Founder, Matthew E. Hilbush, P.E.: November 2023

Dear Colleagues:

I am excited to announce a leadership transition at Mainstay Engineering Group , marking a pivotal moment in the company’s journey towards continued growth and success. After 21 years of service as the Founder and CEO of Mainstay Engineering, I am officially transitioning into a new role as a member of our Board. Stepping into the role of CEO is Laura Hughes . Laura’s experience, leadership acumen, and deep understanding of our industry makes her the ideal candidate to lead us into the future. Under her leadership, our company is destined for great heights.

I founded Mainstay in 2002 with the mission to become the preferred provider of structural engineering services in the life sciences industry. Driven by responsiveness, dependability, and collaboration, our team has achieved amazing success and we have expanded our services to include civil engineering, site engineering, fall protection and facilities support, and serve multiple industries. Now is the time to turn over the reins to our new CEO, Laura Hughes, who will guide Mainstay to the next level. And with Laura at the helm, our team will continue to push the envelope, drive growth, and deliver the highest quality engineering solutions to our valued clients and partners.

I wish to thank our dedicated Mainstay Engineering team members, and the consistent trust our clients have placed in us over the years. ?I intend to remain active and vested in the success of Mainstay Engineering going forward in my new role on the Board of Directors and look forward to continuing our shared success in this exciting new chapter.
