A letter from Henry Kissinger
Tony Thelen
I alleviate pain, anxiety and stress so you can lead a successful career and a fulfilling life, moving closer to your ultimate potential through executive coaching.
In 2014 Henry Kissinger wrote the book, "World Order", that provided his interpretation of world events to date. In the book he shares his experience and outlook how on we got to where we are through 2014. I was excited to read it to learn from his perspective having been involved in so much over his lifetime. However, one part of the book confused me when it said there were "four important dimensions" to world order, but it only described 3 of them.
I decided to write Henry a letter and ask him about it - to my surprise I receive the following thoughtful reply shown in the photo above.
I know he is a polarizing figure to many in the world, but I admired his career for public service and what role he played in trying to create a better world over such a long period of time. I thought I would share this letter today to inspire us all. Even though he was consuming his time with global affairs throughout his life, he had time enough to write a personal letter to an individual like me. I have kept this letter as a small token of inspiration in how I communicate with people I meet as I navigate life.
To the leader that you are today, and the one that you hope to be tomorrow, I hope it inspires you as well.
RIP Henry Kissinger (1923-2023)

1 年One of the most reprehensible individuals I can think of in history, and I can tell you the huge majority of people think that. I think your perspective of him just come as to be fortunate to have been raised in the U.S., unlike those in countries suffering under this man ‘intelligent policies’. Such a despicable person.
